ISLAMABAD: Incidents of murder witnessed an increase in the capital city during the last week as six persons including women were murdered in the jurisdiction of various police stations.
According to data gathered by Business Recorder, motor vehicle thieves have stolen or snatched six vehicles including motor bikes from various parts of the city in the same period.
Criminal activities were especially observed within the limits of Golra, Bani Gala, and Noon police stations. During the last week, Gora Police Station registered one case of robbery and three cases of murder.
Usman Khan lodged a complaint with the Golra Police Station that his maid stole gold ornaments worth Rs560,000 from his home. Syed Saqlain Shah lodged a complaint with Golra Police Station that his sister was allegedly killed by her husband, Najam Naqvi.
A transgender, Muhammd Umer alia Benish was killed by unidentified people. Muhamamd Walid lodged a complaint with Golra Police Station that the accused Pervaiz, Shahid and Asad, killed his brother Masood.
Waris informed Noon Police Station that the accused, Ihtisham, Haider Shah and others killed his brother Sardar Ali. Motor vehicle thieves stole a car bearing registration number EF-3907 belonging to Nawazish Khan worth Rs500,000 from the limits of Bani Gala Police Station.
Motor vehicle thieves stole a car bearing registration number AGT-569 belonging to Muhammad Arif worth Rs20,000,000 from the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station. Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number ADL-313 belonging to Muhammad Ilyas worth Rs50,000 from the limits of Kohsar Police Station.
Auto thieves stole a car bearing registration number LZF-674 belonging to Qasim Ali worth Rs100,000 from the jurisdiction of Shehzad Town Police Station. Carjackers stole a car bearing registration number IDN-9878 belonging to Barkat Hussain worth Rs200,000 from the limits of Shalimar Police Station.
Israr Khan informed Khanna Police Station that the accused Asif, and Khurram allegedly killed his father, Muhammad Iqbal after giving him poisonous food. A woman identified as Mahnoor 22, was found dead at her residence in Shahpur, with a bullet wound on her right temple, and a pistol lying next to her.
