ISLAMABAD: At the national level coronavirus cases have reached 252,735 with 5,297 deaths and 161,917 recoveries, according to the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) and the provincial health departments.

According to the NCOC data, 1,837 Covid-19 patents are in critical condition across the country.

The data further revealed, Sindh has 106,622 Covid-19 cases, Punjab 87,043 cases, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 30,484 cases, Balochistan 11,185 cases, Islamabad 14,108 cases, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 1,655 cases, and Gilgit-Baltistan 1,671 cases.

According to Punjab Primary Health Department, the province has reported 487 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours. According to Punjab government's Covid-19 portal after reporting of new cases, the total cases in the province has reached 87,043.

The province also reported seven more deaths during the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 2,013. According to the portal, 58,023 people have recovered from the virus in the province, so far.

Sindh has reported another 1,089 cases of the coronavirus in the province, taking the provincial tally to 106,622, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The province also recorded 31 new deaths, with its overall death toll from the virus rising to 1,826. A total of 8,929 tests were carried out during the last 24 hours, Shah said.
