ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Covid-19 cases have reached 254,755 with 5,366 deaths and 170,800 recoveries, data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) and the provincial authorities revealed.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab, the province so far has registered 87,492 individuals infected with Covid-19.

According to PDMA Punjab, the province has detected 449 new coronavirus cases by conducting 7,375 tests, while 13 more lives have been lost in the past 24 hours, and the death tally in Punjab has reached 2,026, while 63,977 people have recovered.

Sindh has reported 1,151 coronavirus cases and 37 deaths during the past 24 hours, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. With the new cases, the provincial total has risen to 107,773, while total deaths are 1,863. Shah added that 40,490 patients were currently under treatment.

Data released by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Health Department said that the province had registered 254 new Covid-19 cases, taking the provincial tally to 31,001. According to the KP Health Department, eight more lives were lost, which took the total number of fatalities to 1,114, while 295 more patients recovered in the province taking the total to 21,607.

The province so far has carried out 180,777 Covid-19 tests. Balochistan has reported seven coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, according to the provincial health department's daily situation report. With the new cases, the provincial total has climbed to 11,192.

However, no new deaths were reported during the past 24 hours; so far 126 deaths have been recorded in Balochistan. Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have collectively recorded 160 new coronavirus cases and three fatalities.

District Health Office Islamabad registered 94 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths. Total Covid-19 cases in the federal capital reached 14,202 of which 155 people have died.

While the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Health Department has registered 33 fresh coronavirus cases and one death taking total number of cases in the AJK to 1,688 and death toll to 46.

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has recorded 23 new Covid cases and no death during the past 24 hours. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the GB have reached 1,694 and 46 deaths have been recorded.
