ISLAMABAD: The Covid-19 positive cases rate on Monday remained at 1.8 percent as only 23 people were tested positive out of 1,215 run on high-risk people in the federal capital. According to official data, the total number of coronavirus cases in the capital city rose to 14,599, of which 11,836 patients have completely recovered since the outbreak of deadly virus.
The total number of active cases in the city is 2,763, and the number of deaths is 159, the data says. It says that out of 23 cases reported from various parts of the city, 17 are male and six are female.
The administration has also warned that the Covid-19 still exists, and people need to strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs) devised for controlling the spread of the coronavirus.
