ISLAMABAD: The activists of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against threats to the PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari by former spokesman for the banned TTP Ehsanullah Ehsan. The workers of the PPP staged a protest outside the National Press Club, and strongly condemned the threats of Ehsan.
They were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans "terrorism unacceptable", and also chanted anti-government slogans. The protesters said that under which policy former TTP spokesman was released. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Interior Minister Ijaz Shah are responsible for the release of Ehsan, they said.
Protesters alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan had "relations with the terrorists" and that the prime minister also called Osama Bin Laden a "martyr". The PPP workers staged a protest following a tweet of Ehsan in which he threatened Bilawal that he will meet the fate of his mother, Benazir Bhutto.
