WINNIPEG: ICE Canadian canola futures slipped on Wednesday for a second straight day, pressured by declining soyaoil prices. Canola prices have traded in close step with soyaoil, a rival vegetable oil feedstock, in recent sessions, an analyst said. November-January canola spread traded 2,265 times.
US soyabean futures climbed as news of Chinese purchases offset strong yield prospects. Euronext November rapeseed futures dipped and Malaysian October palm oil futures rose.
