A workshop will be organised to support the future development of 3G broadband networks from Monday (today) to provide a forum for telecom operators to review magnetisation strategies for new network infrastructure in Pakistan.
A global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, Huawei will organise the first-ever 3G series five-day workshop till July 13 where top telecom operators from across the country are expected to attend in order to support the future development of 3G broadband networks. Huawei's Chief Technical Officer, Wilson Wang along with his team informed a group of journalists here on Sunday that led by a team of company's global business and technology consultants, the customised workshops will leverage the company's great experience in the field of mobile broadband to provide a forum for operators to review magnetisation strategies for new 3G network infrastructure in Pakistan, as well as solutions for improving the quality-of-service on Pakistan's mobile networks.
Broadband telecom services supported through 3G technologies have the ability to open up enormous network capacity in Pakistan and enable significantly faster connection speeds for accessing content on the go, he said and added broadband penetration also provides individuals with greater access to emerging Internet technologies such as video conferencing, video streaming and large file-sharing solutions. The CTO said huge potential of Pakistan's 3G market is already driving telecom operators to transform their business strategies and networks. The potential benefits of mobile broadband are far more than just bandwidth, but make it possible for individuals to more easily create, access, and share information anytime from any location.
This is a vision that is shared by all of us within the Pakistan market-one which we hope to realise through collaborations like this, he added.
