KARACHI: The upward trend in gold prices continues to another high of Rs118700 per tola, up by Rs1400 on the local market, traders said. Price of gold per 10 grams also touched a new peak of Rs101766, up Rs1200 on the local market and was quoted $1896 an ounce on the world market, where it went up by $14. Silver was traded for Rs1400 per tola, up by Rs50; Rs1200.27 per 10 grams, up by Rs42.87 and $22.60 an ounce, they added.
