Gold hits another all-time high
- According to Sindh Jewellers Association, the price of 22-carat gold has reached Rs 110,458 per 10 grams while the price of silver with an increase of Rs 20 is now being sold at Rs1,420 per tola.
The yellow metal continued its march, breaking records as gold prices reached another all-time high as the per-tola price of the gold on Saturday reached Rs120,500, after an increase of Rs1,800 in a single day.
According to Sindh Jewellers Association, the price of 22-carat gold has reached Rs 110,458 per 10 grams while the price of silver with an increase of Rs 20 is now being sold at Rs1,420 per tola.
GOLD PRICES ON FRIDAY
On Friday, the upward trend in gold prices continues to another high of Rs118,700 per tola, up by Rs1400 on the local market, traders said.
Price of gold per 10 grams also touched a new peak of Rs101766, up Rs1200 on the local market, and was quoted $1896 an ounce on the world market, where it went up by $14. Silver was traded for Rs1400 per tola, up by Rs50; Rs1200.27 per 10 grams, up by Rs42.87 and $22.60 an ounce, they added.
