Police Martyrs Day: DG ISPR pays tribute to cops for their sacrifices

(Karachi) Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has paid rich tributes to the police officers who sacrificed their lives fighting against terrorists in a bid to maintain peace and ensure protection of the lives and property of citizens.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Iftikhar said, "On Police Martyrs Day, tribute to martyrs of Pakistan Police." He added, "In the line of duty, they have been the 1st responders to every cry for help and answered every call with purpose and pride."

Police Martyrs' Day is being observed today across the country to pay tributes to those police personnel who have rendered their lives for the security and stability of the country. On the occasion, special events were held at provincial headquarters and at district level to highlight the services of police force.
