ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue's (FBR) new team headed by FBR Chairman Javed Ghani held 'an introductory session' with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials in Washington D.C and discussed ways and means for achieving the annual tax collection target for 2020-21 and reforms in the tax administration.
The IMF's team from Washington D.C and tax authorities in Islamabad participated in an online meeting held on Tuesday afternoon here from FBR's headquarters. According to the FBR officials, it was just an introductory session because new appointments were recently made at the FBR, as Chairman FBR and all key members were changed at all important positions.
