ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to establish a Special Cell for effective prove of white-collar crimes on the directives of its Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal as per sources, said a press release issued on Friday.

Experts including experienced investigation officers, bankers, chartered accountants, income tax lawyers, forensic and financial experts have been included in the Special Cell to assist the NAB in the white-collar crimes probe as per the sources. They will also help the NAB in understanding of legal complications.

The Special Cell would also be authorized to seek assistance of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, (SECP), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and other relevant departments in white-collar crime investigations as per the law.-PR
