At least 5 killed, several injured in Chaman blast

At least five people died and several were injured in a blast on Chaman's Mall Road on Monday.
According to police, an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted on a motorbike that was parked on the roadside. As a result of the explosion, window panes of several shops and house were also shattered.
The injured have been shifted to civil hospital Chaman. A contingent of police officials arrived at the Mall Road to conduct an investigation into the blast.
In recent months, Balochistan has seen increased terrorist attacks. On July 21, one person died and seven people were injured when a blast occurred in Balochistan's Turbat market. The blast occurred when an IED was fitted on a motorcycle detonated.
