Sindh reports 10 deaths, 278 new cases
- The province conducted 8,397 tests in the past 24 hours.
Sindh's coronavirus tally reached 124,127 on Monday after the province reported 278 new cases.
In his daily coronavirus update, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 8,397 tests were carried out in Sindh during the last 24 hours. He said out of these cases, 93 were reported from Karachi.
He further said 10 more people lost their lives to coronavirus. "Sindh has lost 2,282 people to the novel virus," the CM said.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has also lifted lockdown restrictions. The government has allowed shops and markets to remain open from 6am to 8pm on weekdays and till 9pm on Saturdays.
It also announced that education institutions and marriage halls will reopen from September 15.
