Sindh government announced on Wednesday that it has restored Hingorani Maariyon, a tomb and two mosques near Tando Fazal, which is nearly 20 kilometers from Hyderabad.
The provincial Ministry of Culture & Tourism posted on Twitter that it has restored and preserved the ancient site. It also shared the before and after pictures. However, the department deleted its tweet after facing outrage on social media.
Around 1775 AD, Hingorani Maariyon, was attacked and destroyed by an Afghan invader, Madad Ali Khan, after which only three of its structures, two mosques and a tomb survived.
