Pakistan's global image is improving and the opposition should support legislation that is in the interest of Pakistanis, he said, adding: "Pakistan is moving forward on the road of development."

During a meeting with the Provincial Information Minister, the governor said the government has successfully completed two years and will complete its term. For the first time in country's history, Pakistan is improving on many fronts including the economy, he said, adding: "Our government is taking practical steps to provide relief to the weaker sections of society; our policies are successfully yielding results in overcoming various challenges Pakistan is facing today."
