Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and Human Resource Development Services of Korea (HRD Korea) for the establishment of Pakistan King Sejong Institute here at NUML in collaboration with three parties - NUML, Korean Embassy and HRDS Korea.
NUML Rector Maj Gen Masood Hasan (retd.) and HRDS President Young-Jung signed the MoU attended by Director General Brig Azam, Registrar Brig M Saeed Akhtar Malik (retd.), Director Academics Col Syed Jawaid (retd.) and Korean Department Head Dr Atif Faraz, says a press release issued here on Tuesday.
Masood Hasan and Dr Faraz said that this institute will introduce an effective and efficient Korean studies programme at NUML where Korean language is already functioning.
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Choong-Joo CHOI, while showing his personal interest in the establishment of the institute, assured his full support and co-operation for the institute as well as the good relations between the two countries.-PR
