ISLAMABAD: The coronavirus positive cases rate on Thursday remained at 0.3 percent, as out of 3,685 tests run, 13 people were tested positive among high-risk people in the federal capital. According to senior officials of the district administration, the health department is conducting extensive contact tracing and random sampling on a daily basis, and the city statistics are improving day by day.

As per the official data, the total number of coronavirus cases in the city surged to 15,425, of which 14,425 people have completely recovered, and 175 have died. The total number of active cases in the city is 1,000.

The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients is 91.50 percent, and active cases are 7.35 percent. Out of 14,425, 265 have recovered on August 20, 182 on August 19, 154 on August 18, 144 on August 17, 32 on August 16, 22 on August 15, and 58 on August 14. The data says that the new cases reported on August on 19 were 11, on August 18, 11, on August 17, 12, on August 16, 32, on August 15, 4, on August 14, 19, on August 13, 27, on August 12, 15, on August 11, 20, on August 10, 20, August 9, 27, August 8, 32, August 7, 41, August 6, 19, on August 5, 27, on August 4, 19, on August 3, 24, on August 2, 19, and on August 1, 19.
