The USAID has awarded five-year scholarship for PhD study to two students of the University of Sindh under teachers' education project. In this connection a ceremony would take place in Islamabad on July 12 to wish the abroad proceeding scholars. The scholarship holder students will be leaving for US to begin their doctoral studies on July 13.
The two lucky students of the SU Faculty of Education are Sajid Ali Yousufzai and Kamal Ahmed who have completed their MPhil in the University.
The USAID has also invited the SU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nazir A Mughal to participate in the ceremony.
It is pointed out that the USAID had awarded PhD scholarship to 28 students of the faculty of education from its partner universities of the country under teachers education programme including two students selected from the SU.
