Huawei establishing 24 HAINA Labs in Pakistan

Chinese tech giant, Huawei is working with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to establish 24 Huawei Authorized Network Academy (HAINA) Labs in Pakistan for training purpose.
It is pertinent to inform that HAINA Labs are a non- profit program designed to build the skills that are required for practical skills for students undertaking Computer Science and related studies.
Furthermore, it is also working on setting up Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networking, which is an optical multiplexing technology used to increase bandwidth over existing fiber networks and video conferencing for 150 universities and smart classrooms project.
This was learned during CEO Huawei Mark Meng called on the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood at his office to discuss a range of bilateral issues of mutual interest. Both sides exchanged views on 5-G Technology, different training programs, and collaboration in different areas of the Ministry of Education.
CEO Huawei also donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to the Minister and the latter commended the donation by Huawei. Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood also applauded the services and contribution of the company in Pakistan. Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood reiterated to further strengthen the collaboration in sector of Education and Professional Training.
