The whole nation is sad over the murder of Hayat Baloch, and such incidents have become a source of serious embarrassment for the country.
This committee must be informed about all the details of the case, the Senator said.
While briefing the committee, the IG FC Balochistan informed that the murder of Hayat Baloch was an act of an individual and not by any group of soldiers or that of an organisation.
Many rumors have been spread about this case. The actual details of the event are that two FC vehicles were crossing through an area of Turbat and suddenly a motorcycle blast left three FC personnel injured.
One of the vehicles had crossed the area, but the second vehicle was hit and caused casualties. A total of 14 FC personnel were sitting in these two vehicles. The FC carried out search operation in the entire area after the blast.
Hayat Baloch was working with his father in a garden of date palms. He was detained in the said area for questioning, but one of the FC personnel, Shadi Allah Khan opened fired on him. He was arrested and the weapon was taken from him.
It was an individual act of that person, and out of the 14 FC convoy nobody fired except Shadi Khan. The FC personnel has been arrested, and an FIR has been registered against him.
It was a criminal act of an individual and not that of an organisation.
"Nobody has any right to take life of anyone," he said.
