ISLAMABAD: The countrywide fatalities from Covid-19 have reached 6,335, after seven more deaths were reported during the last 24 hours. The number of positive cases has reached 297,512 according to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
The data further revealed that out of 23,218 nationwide tests conducted, 498 had been found positive in 24 hours. Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by the Punjab, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad.
Till now, 130,041 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 97,044 in the Punjab, 36,414 in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 15,714 in Islamabad, 13,045 in Balochistan, 2,306 in Azad Kashmir, and 2,948 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Furthermore, 2,420 individuals have lost their lives to the pandemic in Sindh, 2,206 in the Punjab, 1,255 in the KP, 143 in Balochistan, 175 in Islamabad, 71 in the GB, and 65 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 2,707,470 coronavirus tests, and 23,218 in the last 24 hours. At least 282,268 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country, whereas 595 patients are in critical condition.
