Punjab Employment Scheme: CM approves launch, calls for further markup cut

Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar has approved the launch of the Punjab Employment Scheme, under which loans of more than Rs 30 billion will be provided in easy installments.
As per details, a meeting was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of CM Punjab Usman Bazdar in which the Managing Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation gave a briefing on the important features of the Punjab Employment Scheme.
Usman Bazdar in the meeting approved the launch of the Punjab Employment Scheme and directed to launch it this month.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that this scheme would be a great help for the development of small and medium enterprises and the revival of businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Under the scheme, a loan of up to Rs 10 million can be taken. Men, women, and transgender will be able to avail of the loan scheme.
Buzdar said that the availability of loans on easy terms will develop the industry of the province.
Chief Minister Usman Bazdar directed the authorities that further reduction of markup should be considered and the application should be processed in the shortest possible time.
