Sindh Finance department on Wednesday issued instruction of grant of ad hoc Relief Allowance-2012 @ 20 percent of basic pay and revision in the rate of Conveyance Allowances to all civil employees of the provincial government including contingent paid staff and contract employees, employed against civil posts in basic pay scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment.
The term "Basic Pay" for the purpose of ad hoc Relief Allowance-2012 would also include the amount of personal pay granted on account of annual increments beyond maximum of the existing pay scale.
Revised rates of conveyance allowance would be made admissible to the civil servants working in BPS 1-19 as under: Rs1,150 for 1 to 15, Rs1,500 for 11-15, Rs1,700 to Rs2,000 for employees of scale 16-19.
The above ad hoc Relief Allowance-2012 and Conveyance Allowance shall be accommodated within the budgetary allocation for the year 2012-13 by the government departments and no supplementary grants would be given on this account.-PR
