KARACHI: On Monday, Pakistan Rupee lost value against USD in interbank market while gaining value slightly for selling in open market. It also fell against Euro, AED and SR in open market.
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee lost 25 paisas for buying and 20 paisas for selling against USD over last Friday's rates closing at 166.05 and 166.20 respectively
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, PKR remained unchanged for buying while gaining 10 paisas for selling against USD over last Friday's rates closing at 166.10 and 166.30 respectively
Against Euro, PKR lost 50 paisas for both buying and selling closing at 196 and 197.50 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR lost 10 paisas for buying and 5 paisas for selling closing at 45.10 and 45.30 respectively reversing the gains made last Friday.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR lost 5 paisas for buying while remaining unchanged for selling closing at 43.95 and 44.10 respectively also reversing last Friday's gains.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee stayed unchanged on the buying side while it appreciated its worth on the selling side in relation to the greenback in the local currency market on Monday.
According to currency dealers, the greenback did not witness any change in its demand side as it firmly held its opening rate for buying at Rs 166.00 whereas it lost 20 paisas and closed for selling at Rs 166.80 against the previous closing trend of Rs 167.00.
Moreover, the rupee lost 50 paisas against the pound sterling for buying and ended at Rs 212.50 while it stayed unchanged for selling at Rs 214.00, they added.
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The dollar gained 30 paisas against the dollar at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Monday.The dollar opened at Rs166.60 (buying) and Rs166.70 (selling) against last rate of Rs166.80 (buying) and Rs166.90(selling).
The dollar opened at Rs166.50 (buying) and Rs166.60 (selling) against last rate of Rs166.20 (buying) and Rs166.30 (selling).
It closed at Rs166.50 (buying) and Rs166.60 (selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold was Rs121,600 (selling) and Rs121,300 (buying) at the local Sarafa (gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
