Zimbabwe on Sunday named a 25-member training squad for limited-overs tour of Pakistan in October.

Brendan Taylor, Sikandar Raza, Craig Ervine and Sean Williams are named in the training squad for the upcoming ODIs and T20Is against Pakistan. All-rounder Chamu Chibhabha, who was named Zimbabwe’s limited-overs captain on an interim basis earlier this year, will lead the side on the tour.

As per the schedule, the team is set to arrive in Pakistan on October 20. They will play three one-day Internationals, which are part of the inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, and same number of T20Is.

The ODIs are expected to be played between October 30 and November 3 in Multan cricket stadium, while Rawalpindi is expected to host three T20Is on November 7, 8 and 10.

Preparations are underway by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to create a bio-secure environment. The matches are likely to be played behind closed doors.
