South Korea's MFG buys 69,000 tonnes corn in tender

HAMBURG: South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased about 69,000 tonnes of corn expected to be sourced from South America in an international tender which closed on Wednesday, European traders said.

The corn was bought at an estimated $227.49 a tonne c&f plus a $1.25 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading Seller was believed to be trading house Olam.

The tender had sought December/January arrival in South Korea.
