LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Dr Shahbaz Gill has said the "incident of harassment by Talal Chaudhry is absolutely correct and Talal was tortured for harassing a woman MNA".

While talking to a private television channel, he said that harassment incident by Talal Chaudhry is very unfortunate and Maryam Safdar is trying to convince the women to not register a complaint against Talal Chaudhry. He claimed that Talal was not there to discuss party matters at 3am but to harass the woman MNA.

Earlier Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Dr Shahbaz Gill has said on twitter that the incident of "harassment" by PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry of an honorable woman MNA is regrettable and the government will take action and protect the woman.

Shahbaz Gill said that "this move of Talal is a shameful move for Maryam Safdar and all PML-N. Even in the past, whether it is Khawaja Asif or Talal Chaudhry, they have been saying nasty words about women".-NNI

BR reporter from Islamabad adds: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has formed a committee to investigate the incident of an alleged attack on party leader, Talal Chaudhry in Faisalabad. The committee has been constituted by Punjab President, Rana Sanaullah, and comprises Sara Afzal and Akram Ansari. The committee will finalise its report within three days and submit its report to the leadership accordingly. Earlier, Talal Chaudhry has been hospitalised in Lahore following a "mysterious" incident in Faisalabad, near the residence of party MNA Ayesha Rajab, which, he claimed, left him with a fractured arm.
