ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said Faisalabad Industrial Zone has set up a medical equipment manufacturing zone on 200 acres, which will greatly reduce our 1.4 billion dollars imports.
In a tweet, he said Pakistan will make, syringes, needles, canolas, X-ray machines, heart stunts, dialysis machines in this industrial zone. He said the next industrial zone will be set up in Sialkot.
Quoting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain’s tweet, Chairman CPEC Authority Lieutenant General ® Asim Saleem Bajwa said Special Economic Zones are Pakistan’s future for enhancing exports and will create job opportunities.
He welcomed initiative to develop exclusive Health medical city in CPEC’s Faisalabad Special Economic Zone for related manufacturing industry.
