Shehbaz Sharif is reaping what he had sown, says Sheikh Rasheed
- Minister says Nawaz Sharif has decided to stay in London for the rest of his life
(Karachi) Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Shehbaz Sharif is reaping what he had sown. He added that Shehbaz Sharif's arrest is a result of his corrupt practices.
Speaking in a programme on a private TV channel on Monday, Rasheed said that all those who are involved in corruption will be sent behind bars.
The minister claimed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to stay in London for the rest of his life. "Nawaz Sharif should have returned to Pakistan after court orders. He has destroyed his political career by himself,” he stated.
He said Opposition parties can achieve nothing through their All Parties Conference. Rasheed mentioned that Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined to punish corrupt elements and the government and Pakistan Army are on the same page.
He said the Opposition parties are trying to create anarchy in the country but they will not succeed in their plans.
Holding money launderers responsible for the increasing inflation in the country, he claimed that whoever looted the national exchequer will go in jail till December 31.
