Pakistan’s Rashid shatters India’s record of cracking walnuts with forehead
Renowned martial arts expert Muhammad Rashid has once again made into the Guinness World Record after cracking 254 walnuts with his forehead.
The Karachi native dethroned Indian counterpart’s record at an Italian TV show. India’s Naveen successfully cracked 239 during the attempt.
Talking exclusively to Business Recorder, Rashid, who is the founder and president of the Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts, said that Naveen had earlier broken his record of 180, by surpassing it to 217 in a minute.
He then once again attempted the record and claimed to have cracked 240 walnuts.
Following that attempt, the organisers at Guinness World Record called both Naveen and Rasheed to attempt the record at an Italian television show Lo Show Dei Record.
He said he came to know about the show, when he was in Germany attempting another record. “I had only seven days to prepare for the attempt,” said Rashid.
“It was just an amazing experience,” said Rashid, who has 61 records to his name in the book. “I want to say that do what you can under you capacity to make country proud. It doesn’t matter what sport or field you are representing, just do you best for Pakistan.”
Rashid also have several other videos of his attempts on his Youtube page.
He first came into limelight in 2013 when he broke the record for the most bottle caps removed with the head in one minute (40) at the Punjab Youth Sports Festival, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
