Rupee slides against dollar
- The State Bank of Pakistan reported that in interbank trading, the price of euro depreciated by 12 paisas and closed at Rs. 193.10 against the last day’s trading of Rs. 193.22.
ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee edged down by 09 paisas against US dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at Rs. 1.65.88 compared to the previous day's closing of 165.79.
However, according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs. 166.1 and Rs. 166.6 respectively.

The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs. 1.57, whereas an increase of Rs. 1.14 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs. 212.83 as compared to its last closing of Rs. 211.69.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal also increased by 3 paisas and 2 paisas to close at Rs. 45.16 and Rs. 44.22 respectively.
