KARACHI: On Monday, upon market closing, Pakistan Rupee went down against USD in both interbank and open markets while remaining unchanged against Euro in open market.
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee lost 15 paisas for both buying and selling against USD over last Friday's rates closing at 165.85 and 165.95 respectively.
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, PKR lost 5 paisas for buying and 10 paisas for selling over last Friday's rates closing at 165.90 and 166.30 respectively.
Against Euro, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling closing at 192.50 and 194 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR lost 5 paisas for buying and 10 paisas for selling closing at 45.10 and 45.30 respectively.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR lost 5 paisas for both buying and selling closing at 44 and 44.15 respectively.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee depreciated its worth in the process of trading against the greenback and the British pound in the open currency market on Monday.
According to currency dealers, the short supply phenomenon of the greenback prevailed throughout the trading session which helped its appreciation for buying and selling at Rs 166.00 and Rs 166.90 against the previous closing rate of Rs 165.70 and Rs 166.20 respectively.
Likewise, the rupee also followed suit in relation to the pound sterling that was bought and sold at Rs 212.50 and Rs 214.00 against Friday's closing trend of Rs 211.00 and Rs 213.00 respectively, they added.
