ISLAMABAD: Former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that by arresting Shehbaz Sharif, the "puppet" system has ratified the resolution recently passed by the opposition's all-party conference (APC). The PML-N leader, who is currently in London for medical treatment, took to Twitter to condemn the arrest of party president and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), and stated that Shehbaz had already made it clear that all the decisions made by the APC would be implemented in any case.

"By arresting Shahbaz Sharif, this "puppet" system has ratified the APC resolution. Shahbaz Sharif had already stated that whether in or outside the jail, all the decisions made in the APC would be implemented...Let no one be under any misconception that we can be bowed down through such strong-arm tactics," Nawaz tweeted.
