KARACHI: Over last few years, Unaccounted-for-Gas commonly called as UFG (Line losses) has been major concern for SSGC’s management as it had badly affected the Company’s bottom line. To apprise these major issues along with other concerns to the high officials of Balochistan and to seek their help in resolving them, SSGC’s delegation under the leadership of Deputy Managing Director (Corporate Services) Imran Farookhi, Director General Security Services and Counter Gas Theft Operations Brigadier Muhammad Abuzar (R), General Manager In-charge (Customer Services) Shehryar Kazmi and General Manager Balochistan Region Madni Siddiqui met Commander Southern Command Balochistan, Lt General Muhammad Waseem Ashraf, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain Fazeel Asghar (R), Additional IG (Admin) Police Jahanzaib Khan Jogezai and DIG FC Brigadier Furqan Moazzam.
Besides gas theft and poor recovery issues, SSGC’s delegation in these four separate meetings discussed other matters as well, concerning to the establishment of SSGC Police Station in Quetta, possibilities of fixed gas tariff for Balochistan’s colder areas and SSGC’s future projects and CSR activities in the province.
All these high-ups of Balochistan assured their full cooperation and support to facilitate SSGC in resolving these issues and coordinating with the utility in the allied matters discussed in these meetings.—PR
