KARACHI: Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Friday. It said that the country's plane areas may witness hot weather conditions. However, light rain is expected in a few districts of Gilgit-Baltistan over the weekend.
"Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country," the Met said. In the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. Highest temperature of the day was recorded in Turbat and Noor Pur Thal as 42 degrees Celsius, each, and Shaheed Benazirabad 41.
