KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Port Qasim, collected Rs59.51 billion in September 2020, depicting a 74.04 percent growth.
According to provisional statistics, the MCC Appraisement West collected Rs17.01 billion as customs duty as against Rs17.24 billion collected during September 2019, showing a decline of 1.32 percent.
Similarly, the collection made on account of FED has also plunged by 20.61 percent as compared to the collection made in the month of September 2019.
Furthermore, the MCC Port Qasim has collected Rs37.392 billion as sales tax and Rs4.68 billion as income tax, showing 11.98 percent and 1.12 percent growth respectively.
