On Tuesday, Abdullah arrived in New Delhi for a five-day visit. During his meeting with the NSA head, both sides had a constructive discussion on the Afghan peace process and the talks regarding it in Doha.

Doval told Abdullah that India is in favor of an 'independent, democratic, sovereign and peaceful Afghanistan, where no terrorists can operate'.
