Rupee strengthens against US dollar
- In interbank trading, the price of euro appreciated by 13 paisas and closed at Rs. 193.50 against the last day’s trading of Rs. 193.37, State Bank of Pakistan reported.
ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee strengthened by 2 paisas against US dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at Rs. 163.81 against the previous day's closing of 163.83.
Meanwhile, according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs. 163.8 and Rs164.5 respectively.

The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs. 1.55, whereas an increase of Rs. 1.37 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs. 213.49 as compared to its last closing of Rs. 212.12.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 1 paisa each to close at Rs. 44.59 and Rs. 43.66 respectively.
