Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa said on Saturday that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) would hold fair and free elections and also clean sweep the polls. Addressing a press conference at Circuit House here, Governor Latif Khosa said the PPP is the biggest Party of the country that always followed the vision of Shaheed Zulifkar Ali Bhutto.
He said the masses are politically mature and no one could come to power through the backdoor. Latif Khosa criticised the Punjab government and said it had spent the whole budget of the province on construction of only two roads in Lahore. He appealed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan to conclude the Mehran Bank scandal case at the earliest.
Khosa said the PPP would end the sense of deprivation among people of south Punjab. "People who are hatching conspiracies against south Punjab as a separate province will be defeated," he added.
