Women Develop-ment Department, Government of Sindh in collaboration with M/s. Excellent Events & Entertainment (Pvt.) Limited, has been organizing International Conference on Women Leadership & Women Excel-lence Awards, for the past seven years.
The main objective of this event is to highlight and acknowledge the outstanding contribution of women in the social and economic development of Pakistan. This year, 8th International Conference on Women Leadership and Women Excellence Award was organised on July 07, 2012 at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad to pay tribute to the role models of empowering women that made valuable efforts in inspiring the globe with an indomitable willpower. The conference will bring global business and government women leaders and professionals face-to-face with new trends and challenges in an environment that fosters knowledge-building. The theme of this year conference is "Women Empowerment through Education".
The conference topics are designed to highlight and discuss the importance of education for empowering the women of Pakistan.
