PESHAWAR: KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has taken exception to the statement of PML-N Supremo, Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif against the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and termed it an anti-state agenda expected only from the enemies of the country.

In a statement issued here Sunday, the KP Chief Minister said Pak Army has rendered unprecedented sacrifices for this country and thousands of security personnel's have laid down their lives for the sake of the mother land. He said that the entire nation holds the Pak Army in high esteem for its sacrifices offered for country and every individual of the nations stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pak Army.

The Chief Minister strongly condemned Nawaz Sharif's statement and termed it as an attack on the entire army; and asked the patriotic workers of PML-N to condemn the statement of their party head and to disown it.

While holding Nawaz Sharif responsible for all the economic issues of the country, Mahmood Khan said that despite being in power for three times in the country, Nawaz Sharif didn't do anything for the people of the country, but only plundered the resources of the country to expand his family business adding that people of the country have rejected him and reposed full confidence in Imran khan.
