KARACHI: The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) is collaborating in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative with the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). IoBM and KMC with close coordination with the office of Parks and Horticulture Karachi will initiate "#LetsGreenKarachi" project.

It is a sustainable plantation drive to be held across the city. The first stakeholder meeting in this regard was held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at IoBM. Director General Parks and Horticulture Karachi, Taha Saleem, an IoBM alumnus, along with stakeholders of this project attended this meeting.

The participants decided on the areas where the tree plantation drives will be initiated. They also discussed various strategic objectives of this project. Besides the presence of Talib Karim, President IoBM; Dr Syed Irfan Hyder, Rector IoBM, this meeting was attended by Dr Shahid Amjad, HoD Environment & Energy Dept, IoBM; Salman Tufail, Director, Tufail Group; Salman Mahmud, CEO Future Agritech, Taufiq Pasha, Horticulture Expert, Mufti Faisal Japanwala, and members of the IoBM Alumni Association.-PR
