KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) foreign exchange reserves increased by $268 million to $12.066 billion during the week ended Oct 16, due to government of Pakistan official inflows.
According to weekly foreign exchange report issued by the SBP on Thursday, with arrival of these inflows, the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country also surged to $19.302 billion up from $19.016 billion. Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were $7.235 billion end of the last week.
