LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz vice-president Maryam Nawaz is all set to launch her party’s campaign for Gilgit-Baltistan elections scheduled on November 15.
Maryam is reaching Skardu on Thursday (today) with a programme mainly dominated by addressing corner meetings, PML-N support groups and other gatherings.
As per schedule, Maryam will address public gatherings in Ghwari on November 5, Skardu on November 6, and Dambu Das on November 7, Gahkuch on November 8, Astore on November 10 and Chilas on November 11. Former chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman has finalized programme for public meetings of Maryam. The PML-N has also planned a public rally from Shigar to Skardu on November 6. It would be interesting to see now how Bilawal Bhutto and Maryam Nawaz will convince Gilgit-Baltistan voters to cast their votes only for their party without criticising each other.
