It is quite clear that the prospects of multi-party alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), have been badly hurt by PML-N leader and former Speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq's highly objectionable remarks on the assembly's floor. PDM's rallies had clearly indicated that its narrative has gripped not only its own ranks and cadre, but a wider audience amongst the masses.
Both Ayaz Sadiq and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif, in my view, have immensely disturbed PDM's momentum. They seem to have done a great favour to a beleaguered PTI government.
