ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will arrive on a two-day official visit to Pakistan on Tuesday (today) to hold talks with civil and military leadership on issues of mutual interests, bilateral cooperation, and the Afghan peace process.
Diplomatic sources said that Foreign Minister Zarif would be accompanied by a high-level political and economic delegation on his visit from November 10-11. Iran's special envoy for Afghanistan Muhammad Ibrahim Taheriyan will also accompany Zarif in the visit.
The Iranian foreign minister will hold meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
