ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested former Gilgit-Baltistan Governor Mir Ghazanfar’s son Saleem Khan in a fraud case worth Rs50 million.
The NAB produced Saleem before the Accountability Court for obtaining his transit remand. The NAB prosecutor requested the court for granting seven-day transit remand of the accused. However, the court remanded him in custody for four days, and directed him to be produced in the relevant court. The accused will be transferred to Gilgit regional bureau of the NAB.
An official said that the bureau arrested Saleem in a case of fraud of Rs50 million with the National Bank.
