Ministry of Information and Broadcasting while lauding the services of Taimur Azmat Osman outgoing Secretary Information and Broadcasting arranged a farewell ceremony here on Monday.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira appreciated the initiative as a good tradition to relive the outgoing Secretary in a befitting manner. He also acknowledged the sagacity of the outgoing Secretary in handling the affairs of the Ministry.
Taimur Azmat Osman has been given new assignment as Secretary Establishment Division.
Later, Qamar Zaman Kaira presented a shield to outgoing Secretary Information and Broadcasting. The new Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Rashid Ahmad received the guests and said that this tradition will go a long way in recognising the services of any outgoing officer. The ceremony was attended by senior journalists, bureaucrats and representatives of print and electronic media.
