LEAs asked to beef up security arrangements

Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain has directed the concerned officers of law enforcement agencies to beef up security arrangements at the important installations, sensitive points, worship places and other vulnerable public sites in the four districts of Faisalabad Division keeping in view the present threat of terrorism in the wake of Lahore and Gujrat incidents.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of Divisional Intelligence Committee, which was held here on Monday at his office to review the security matters in the division.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed the re-checking of the security arrangements at sensitive offices, important markets and public places, wagon/bus stands, railway stations, shrines, worship places, important political and religious figures. The Divisional Commissioner said that the vigil eye should keep on security of jails.
